What is Widgets?+
Widgets is an independent desktop customization app being built for macOS and Windows. It brings clocks, a calendar, notes, tasks, a focus timer, weather, system readings, and countdowns into one customizable collection.
Doesn’t my computer already have widgets?+
Yes. macOS has desktop widgets, and Windows 11 has a Widgets board. Widgets is a separate app focused on a cohesive, customizable collection placed directly on the desktop. It does not replace Apple or Microsoft widgets.
Can I interact with widgets on the desktop?+
Unlock the layout from the menu bar or system tray, or press Control/Command + Shift + W, to move, resize, and interact with widgets. Locking returns them to a non-interactive desktop layer.
Is there a subscription?+
The planned price is $9.99 once for the initial desktop product. Final license terms, activation limits, update policy, and regional taxes will be published before sales open.
Does my data stay on my computer?+
Notes, tasks, and layouts are stored on your computer. Weather sends the coordinates you enter to Open-Meteo. License activation contacts the license provider. Feedback you explicitly submit is sent to our support system.
Can I try it now?+
The browser preview works today. Signed desktop installers are in development; platform compatibility and release downloads will be published after macOS and Windows testing.
