BEFORE WE OPEN THE DOORS
A few important
little details.
Widgets is a pre-release product. The browser preview is for evaluation, not a promise of desktop compatibility.
Price and availability
The planned price is $9.99 USD once. Sales should remain disabled until signed installers, a named legal seller, customer license terms, a refund policy, taxes, and support contacts are ready. Final terms and any regional taxes must be shown before purchase.
Current limitations
Locked desktop widgets are non-interactive. Unlock them to type or move them. The initial app has no cloud sync, shared task service, system calendar integration, music controls, or automatic photo library access. The preview cannot display real CPU or memory readings.
Safety and automated changes
Feature requests and bug reports may be processed by an automated agent. Automated tests reduce errors but cannot guarantee correctness or security. Do not use Widgets for medical, emergency, financial, or other safety-critical decisions. Keep backups of important notes.
Third-party rights
This is a separate implementation. It does not include source code or assets from the GPL GNOME Widgets project or SnapState. Third-party software dependencies retain their own licenses. Apple, macOS, Microsoft, and Windows are trademarks of their respective owners.
